New items added….
Hey guys, been a bit busy in case you have not noticed (lol). Got a new Christian radio on the header of this site. It does not have autoplay (of which I’m certain that there are many who are very grateful for that feature) but it does have some great music in it. Even if you are not Christian you may find this music to your liking so please check it out. The actual site for the player is at Radio Grace and I believe you may even be able to incorporate it into your My Space page (it is a google gadget). I’ve also moved my Bible Verse of the Day to the header as well.
On the sidebar you will find the following new features for your enjoyment. I truly hope that you will take just a little bit of time and check them out. For fellow Christians it may even help to strengthen your walk and it certainly won’t hurt you to take a minute or two of your browsing time to read these and learn from them. Here’s the list of Christian oriented widgets added:
- Top Christian News Stories – read the news from a Christian viewpoint
- Words of Christ – help familiarize yourself with Jesus’ teachings
- Reminders from God – helps to remind us what God wishes from us
- Cornerstone 2008 – Countdown to the Cornerstone Music festival 2008
And from the sporting world I have added this widget:
- NHL Scoreboard – get the latest and view the stats and the summaries of the games
Now on to the footer (bottom) of the page and some important content placed there:
- The Realms News Feeds – a listing of RSS feeds from 5 different sources which include; Reuters Political, Wired: Top Stories, The Guardian, New York Times, The Conservative Voice News. I’ve tried to give a well rounded view of information offered here so one could not say it is all one-sided.
- Cryptogram of the Day – a daily changing puzzle to strengthen your minds and sharpen your wits. Good luck with this one!
- Read the Constitution – One cannot make decisions which concern our country without fully understanding that foundation which our nation is built upon. Please take the time to READ this document on a daily basis so you will be able to make educated decisions on whom and how our country is to be run in the future!
- Sudoku! – The madness is upon us here at the Realm! Expand your mind in another brain busting riddle.
I have added a Links tab to the main menu (at the top of the page) where all the links that are in my posts are harvested and presented for your convenience. This way you won’t have to search through all of my posts to find that one simple link you may be looking for. Also you will notice a new Comment License which merely states that I have permission to reprint your comments if I wish or need to. Am I completely done working on this site? Of course not! But I am finished for the time being. I will most likely not do anything large as I start school once again in a week and my time will be precious again. I will try to not be a stranger (at least not any stranger than usual that is) and post from time to time about how life and school are treating me.
By the way, my health is great. The surgery went fine and I’m healing up just fine now. I still have some weight restrictions but nothing too bad (under 100 pounds for the next week or so is all). Soon I will be back to work and busting my rear end just as I always do. Right now though, I have some dishes to get cleaned up and then get ready to go to All About Eyes and get my new glasses.
