I feel exactly the same way about Weldon Springs. We have our family reunions there at least twice a year and have been frequenting the park for as long as I can remember...over 50 years! Did you happen to notice that NONE of the closings are in the Chicago area? I have been searching for online petitions for these areas and Kickapoo since the news broke, but so far have not found any. If you hear of any, please post them because I have family in just about every state of the union who come to these places at least once a year who would be happy to sign a petition to keep them open. Thanks for opening this line of communication!
