Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. Here you will find different musings and descriptions of the various happenings in my life. Anything from political and religious opinions to fantastical writings that have absolutely nothing to do with anything important. Some days I may write about my educational adventures and others I may be writing about the rising price of gasoline, you just never know. So, if this is your cup of tea or if you are just looking for the entertainment of reading other people's thoughts, I welcome you and invite you to subscribe to my blog (look for the link in the sidebar). Thank you for your visit and please feel free to invite your friends!

Everything you needed to know about shadowchaser

Jack Corzine has written 148 post in this blog.

I'm a 49 year old Union Ironworker who has numerous interests. Currently I am close to receiving my AAS in Network Administration in Security and am seeking a career change over to the IT field. I love to cook, love my wife and family, and love to live life as fully as I am able to and I try to reflect that in my writings here. Hopefully you will be able to take something from what I place here and put it to good use. Please feel free to comment on anything you wish to here, tell your friends about this website and come back for me. May the Lord God bless and keep you.

Ok so we got up at Ted and Sally Jo’s and had a great breakfast made by Ted. Thanks to his generosity, he fixed us bacon and eggs (Ted cannot eat bacon) and boy did it taste great. Of course Ted commented (complained??) about fixing all that bacon and not being able to eat any of it himself but he did soak some toast in the bacon grease in order to get some satisfaction from the taste of it! I don’t blame him, if it were me I would most likely have ate some of the bacon myself! After eating and saying our goodbyes we headed off on the long trip to Dalton, GA. Our route took us along I-24 to I-65 (at Chattanooga, TN) and then to I-75. It was pretty much uneventful and an enjoyable trip as Mike slept a larger amount of the way and I was able to listen to my talk radio stations on our Sirius radio receiver. I like the Sirius receiver but I wish that they would mandate a certain frequency nationwide for the reception of the FM transmitter that is built into the unit. It is quite annoying to have to search for a clear channel all of the time when travelling from city to city and from state to state. Of course the alternative is to have our unit hard-wired into the car’s stereo unit but I don’t wish to either do it myself or to pay someone to do it for me (yea, yea, I’m really that cheap but then again why should I do that when the FM transmitter works so well under most circumstances).

The car has been running just fine with the exception of a slow leak in the passenger rear tire that has to be attended to every 500 miles or so. I’ll be looking into fixing that after we get back to central Illinois. We arrive in Dalton and spend the night at the Country Hearth Inn for a modest fee. It’s an okay hotel for just spending the night.
