Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. Here you will find different musings and descriptions of the various happenings in my life. Anything from political and religious opinions to fantastical writings that have absolutely nothing to do with anything important. Some days I may write about my educational adventures and others I may be writing about the rising price of gasoline, you just never know. So, if this is your cup of tea or if you are just looking for the entertainment of reading other people's thoughts, I welcome you and invite you to subscribe to my blog (look for the link in the sidebar). Thank you for your visit and please feel free to invite your friends!

Please say it isn’t so!!

Everything you needed to know about shadowchaser

Jack Corzine has written 148 post in this blog.

I'm a 49 year old Union Ironworker who has numerous interests. Currently I am close to receiving my AAS in Network Administration in Security and am seeking a career change over to the IT field. I love to cook, love my wife and family, and love to live life as fully as I am able to and I try to reflect that in my writings here. Hopefully you will be able to take something from what I place here and put it to good use. Please feel free to comment on anything you wish to here, tell your friends about this website and come back for me. May the Lord God bless and keep you.

One of my all-time favorite videos is the FreeCreditReports.com pirate restaurant song:

Now it seems as if this commercial is very misleading in many ways. First of all, Free Credit Report dot com is NOT entirely free. According to the fine print the first report you receive can be free but you must subscribe to their service first which will cost you a fee unless you cancel your subscription within 7 days. Now that in itself is bad enough (and some may try to declare that it is deceptive business practices which preys on people who are naive enough to not read the fine print) but what is even more criminal in my view is that the person “singing” the song is not even doing so! Yep, that’s right, he’s not a singer but is merely an actor lip-syncing to the music. Now I’m really depressed and probably will never Yee-Haw to that song ever again (much to the despair of my lovely wife I tell you!).

Oh and btw, if you really want a totally FREE report of your credit report, I suggest going to the Federal Trade Commission’s website Annual Credit Report dot com and YES they have a jingle too. In fact, they placed a couple up in order to compete directly with Free Credit Reports after receiving numerous complaints from the Free Credit Reports dot com disgruntled customers. Check this out and see what you think:

Be aware, Annual Credit Report is absolutely free, however, they do provide you with links to the 3 highest used credit reporting agencies and there may be fees involved with one or more of them. Federal law states you are allowed to one free credit report annually.

Have fun and be aware of your credit reports!
